and the winner is....1

I know, I know, it sounds crazy, but yes, David and I have decided to live in a one bedroom apartment. We're hoping that if we suck it up and deal with the small space (and cheaper rent) now, we'll be able to move out into something more ideal sooner.

Last weekend we also picked up the couch that Emily bought from a friend and is letting us use. So here's where we sit with furniture:

Couch - check
Mattress & box spring - check

Still need:
Bed frame
Coffee/end tables
Chair/recliner....
Kitchen table and chairs
TV stand/entertainment center

If you know of someone looking to give away or cheaply sell any of these items, let us know!

I can't wait for Saturday - Kristin's doing my practice wedding 'do!

one bedroom or 2??

We have an apartment! We've been approved! Now we just have to decide whether to save money and live in a one bedroom place or spend a bit more and have an extra room, door and closet....David could really use the office space, but we could save money...it's a dilemma! Also, the one bedrooms are on the first floor and 2 bedrooms are on the 2nd....

The apartment is on Honey Creek Road, just off of Hwy 120, just south of the free way...we can't wait to live there! The building is BRAND new - opening on September 1 - just in time for David to move in, Aubrey to visit on September 9 and us to live there! Could things be falling into place any better!?!?

Got thoughts on the bedroom dilemma? Let me know!

Marriage Counseling -- DONE!

Well, after months of meeting with our pastor Garth, his wife Rachel, and having dinner with their kids, Wyatt, Emma, Sophie and Kale, we are DONE with marriage counseling.

Last night's session was about sex. Yes, it was uncomfortable, who wants to talk with their pastor about this kind of thing? We did read through a very nice passage of scripture, though. If you're married, you might want to check it out: Song of Solomon 7. It's meant only for you married folk, remember that.

So, now, David and I can officially be married in the Evangelical Free church in front of God and our families and live happily ever after!! What a great feeling! Did you know the wedding is only 80 days away? That's it! That's all!
